Perfect World Rogue
This project was for Perfect World, one of the companies involved with Dungeons and Dragons: Neverwinter. Working from concept art made it a really challenging and enjoyable, as artists don't necessarily bear in mind the demands of realism in their designs. A tight deadline meant that we decided to focus on the most iconic areas of the design rather than trying to make the entire costume. Accordingly we agreed to make the torso armour, vambraces, leg dagger holster, skirt, top, and sleeve. Perfect World is based in Amsterdam and the model was unable to get over for a fitting, so I made the costume as adjustable as possible so ensure the best fit. The skirt is a wrap-around style with adjustable ties. The top is semi-boned, laced at the back for adjustability and closes with a secret zip. The armour is adjustable with a range of buckles and laces. Materials used: Stretch cotton/lycra blend (skirt and top); faux leather (armour) To see my notes on the pictures, click on them or view as slideshow.
